Interview With PLR provider Ronnie Nijmeh

Ronnie-Nijmeh-plrmeI recently  had the chance to ask PLR provider Ronnie Nijmeh some questions that many people have concerning PLR. Perhaps these are your questions too?

1. Do you recommend rewriting PLR.me’s PLR? If so, how do YOU do it?

This is a great question. It’s funny because so many of my clients have told me that the content is so good that they don’t even touch it! And these are offline professionals like psychiatrists, doctors, chiropractors, real estate agents, financial advisors and more.

With that said, whether you re-write PLR depends on how you use it.

If you post it on your site or blog, then I’d recommend re-writing the title, sub-titles, and the first paragraph or two, at the very least.

But if you are printing it, posting it in a private members area, in your email autoresponders, in a webinar, and so on, then you can really use it as-is. This is particularly true with the action guides, affirmations, graphics, and PowerPoints you get with PLR.me since they’re already designed professionally.

2. Do you have any super ninja tactics you can tell us about regarding using PLR?

Actually, I do… :)

One of THE most profitable things you can do in your business are webinars. Anyone who’s done them knows this… You’re able to connect with your audience in a way that’s unique online — after all, it’s live and they hear your voice and can see your screen! And as a result, the conversion rates are always higher than sales letters.

So my super ninja tactic is to mash together a few PLR articles, pair it with some personal stories and experiences, then create a webinar. At the end of the webinar, you can then sell a home study course (something that you bought the private label rights to, of course!).

So there you have it… do a webinar a week and you’ll be at six figures in 12 months. Seriously.

I actually have some cheat sheets and insider advice about webinars with a new training guide called Event Marketing Strategy Guide.

3. So tell those of us who insist on buying PLR ala cart WHY we should join a PLR membership site like yours?

Buying PLR ala cart is a great option and actually, you can buy it that way at PLR.me too.

The reason memberships exist is really about giving members a special benefit or perk for their loyalty.

So with my PLR club, members get things like monthly mastermind calls and downloads for free – stuff that others pay for later. Plus there’s the added benefit of things like a Video Site Review where I’ll record a video walking through your website giving you conversion, traffic, and sales techniques. Again, it’s a members-only perk.

Beyond that, the reality is, your business is entirely reliant on content.

Stop updating your site, and your traffic will see a slowdown.

Stop sending emails to your list, and your raving fans won’t remember your name.

Stop creating valuable products and offers for your customers, your sales come to a screeching halt.

So a regular stream of trustworthy, publisher-quality content is your ticket to prevent that. Especially when you systemize – or outsource – everything like a well-oiled machine.

4. Can you offer us some sort of short ordered list for using the PLR we purchase (do this first, this second, this third)?

Well, firstly you have to determine what your top 1 or 2 goals are when using content.

Is it traffic?

Is it product creation?

Is it to do more webinars?

Then once you figure that you, my biggest recommendation is to create a step-by-step game plan checklist. Obviously this checklist will depend on your goal with the content.

So once you have your PLR, you need to know what you need to do to take it from that raw document and into a blog post… or into a training course… or into a webinar.

I did lay out a strategic plan with my PLR Profit Blueprint. There’s a mindmap and 40 minute video that walks you through the map!

So Much PLR… So Many Possibilities!

How to use PLR
Creative Commons License photo credit: juliejordanscott

Admit it.

Sometimes you buy PLR because you know the quality is good and you know it has possibilities, but after you download it you’re not sure what to do with it.  It’s like buying that stunning outfit that looked incredible in the store, but when you bring it home you’re not sure what to wear it to.

A party? Work? An after-work party?  You’re just not sure so you hang it in the back of your closet hoping for the right occasion to come along someday.

Don’t wait for the right occasion to come along someday with your PLR, get it out there now and making you some money!

To help with that, I thought I’d give you ideas by showing you some PLR that’s available now and telling you what I might do with it if I purchased it.

Example #1

Diet, Weight Loss and Fitness PLR articles

This pack of 20 articles will work nicely on my weight loss blog. But I’m not going to just plaster them up without any thought, I’m going to tweak them to suit my purposes. Articles need to give information and give a good reader experience, but they should also have a call to action. I’d formulate a plan and gear them towards a Clickbank weight loss product and fitness product.

Depending on which  article I use, it will presell an appropriate product. I don’t want to promote products in every post though, so some will give info, then ask for comments to get the readers to interact. Or the articles might be a good backdrop for using my keywords as anchor text, or to link to another page on my site, or another of my sites.

Example #2

First Time Cruising PLR (Right hand side, New PLR Released)

This one is a package of 10 PLR articles on cruising. Well, it just so happens I have a personal blog I started a little bit ago where I am journaling about my river cruise in Europe last year. I honestly have only been adding to it when I have time seeing as it’s more personal, but of course I just had to SEO it for good keyword phrases and added some advertising to monetize it. :)

Anyhow, I think this pack of articles would be an excellent addition to this site. I’d create a report out of it by making sure the articles run smoothly together and adding graphics. Each article can be a chapter and I’d probably add a few more, like a FAQ chapter and maybe a what to do if things don’t go as planned chapter.

But I don’t want to use this as a freebie for optins because I’m not looking to build a list here, so I would offer it for sale on my site in a sidebar for a wonderful price. :)

Example #3

Thesis WordPress Theme PLR

This is a DIY bundle of 4 reports, including screenshots, that show people how to customize the Thesis theme. I would add my special touches to it – add value, add examples, add stories, include resources where they can get even more information – and turn it into a report.

Next  I would write up something about premium themes vs. basic free themes, and include a quick review of the Thesis theme, hitting the pros and cons and post it on my blog.  At the end of my review, where I post my affiliate link to Thesis themes, I’ll offer my free report on how to customize the themes if they buy through my link.

People who have been on the fence about buying Thesis might feel better about buying, knowing that they’re getting a free report that will help them figure out the somewhat scary bits.

Example #4

Financial Education For Kids PLR Bundle (from the list of recent products in the right column)

There are a few things I’d like to do with this one. First, I’d add to it. I know I’ve seen other PLR around on kids and money so I’d find that and merge it into this existing report. I’d also put my own spin on it, add pictures, get a new cover, etc. Then I’d sell it as Kindle and Nook ebooks.

I would also set it up in Clickbank to sell. In fact, I’d consider joining this PLR membership so I could do that with a whole slew of his products.

Example #5

Search Engine Optimization Pack

There’s no question why I would get this pack… to learn from! This guy is very knowledgable about SEO; I’ve been a reader of his blog for quite some time so I can see he knows his stuff. The fact that he’s now producing PLR is a big hairy plus for me, I can learn from this PLR.

If I want to turn around and repurpose the articles to post on my blog to also educate my readers, then woo hoo!

My intent when writing this post was to give you some ideas on how to use the PLR you purchase. I hope it gets your creative juices flowing and gets you to take action. One thing I didn’t count on when writing this… I’m excited by these examples and now need to get busy with it! :)

You too? Let me know what you’re doing with your PLR and how it went.  If you need help with how to rewrite PLR articles and reports, I can show you how to do it.

What About PLR Graphics?

plr-graphics

Here is a question about PLR graphics I got the other day:

When I buy a package of PLR, should I use the graphics that come with it?

I would say that depends on what you’re using the PLR for.  I’m assuming your plr package is an ebook and a website/sales page?  Then I would consider carefully what I want my outcome to be when I use this particular PLR I’ve purchased.

Sometimes you don’t want to make a lot of changes to it because you’re using it for a non-IM niche site and you want to offer it to entice people to optin to your list of subscribers. In this case, you don’t have to even call it yours, you can offer it to interested parties in exchange for their email address. This is probably the only time I would not change the graphics that come with the package.

However, most of the time the PLR product I buy is something I want to change and add value to. I want it to be a totally different product by the time I’m done with it. In this case, getting new graphics done is important.

Since the first thing you want to change is the name of the product and you’ve likely bought a domain name to go with it, it’s going to make sense to get new graphics.  But often times your plr package will come with "blank" graphics. Should you use those?  It seems a pity not to if they’re given to you. You just add the title to the blank website page and you’re good to go.

PLR writers who do packages like to offer you everything they can so you can decide what you want to use.  It doesn’t mean you have to use everything.  Many PLR users go elsewhere and get new graphics done. It’s not outrageously expensive and a practice I most often follow myself.

So it’s up to you to determine what you want to do about the PLR graphics based on your goal, time, budget, the niche, and marketing sense.work at home ebook

P.S. I just finished a new PLR package in the Work At Home niche called,
Discover Your Home-Based Internet Income Stream.  And yes, it’s got the works – ebook, sales page for the ebook, download page, report for optins, squeeze page for the report, 5 AR emails to presell the ebook, all graphics, instruction guide and how to make money with this PLR guide.
